Since the release of his 2022 debut solo-album, "All The Same Monster", Billy has had over a million Spotify streams, and is humbled by numbers from other streaming sites as well. On that album, he sang & played nearly everything: piano, bass, guitar, a ukulele, kalimba, ocarina, & accordion.
Billy Lowry grew up in Seattle & studied music theory & piano at ASU. His genre ranges from alternative-indie to prog-rock pop. He toured the CA & NV circuit in a variety of different bands: 'The Lizards’, ‘Nobody's Fault’, & 'Echo Junction'; to name a few. When living in Los Angeles, he was then lead guitarist for 'The Future?’, an EDM-rock band.
Today, Billy continues to sing and play all of the instruments on his music. He recently joined Union Rock, a local Phoenix staple; on bass guitar. He also is a part of a folk-bluegrass group: 'The Others'. In addition, Billy loves being one of the main mentors for the New Artist Spotlight & is always excited to assist up & coming NAS artists.
2024-25 PROJECTS
Billy Lowry continued his musical journey with The Day After & Marigold, which was one of the first songs he learned on guitar. He is also very excited to release a piano/guitar duel titled Rabbit Hole; scheduled for May 2025!
Billy was thrilled to lend his drum, bass, & vocal skills to several songs by NeverSayNever & Quizboy this year. Bitter [bass] & Reeducation [Through Labor] [vocals] are out now on Quizboy's latest album. MMES [drums] & SPDLS [drums] by NeverSayNever are OUT NOW!
Other upcoming collaborations in 2025 are with BigBaldBen & FOUR new tracks with Jules Sherwood, including another release from his new band "PASSIVE PANIC". Billy is also excited to release a cover of Mindfunk titled "Goddess" - coming March 28th. Listen to MMES:
